Scott R. McClure

Scott R. McClure was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he earned his B.A. Degree in 1998. He then attended the DePaul School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and earned his J.D. in 2001. Attorney McClure became an Associate at the Law Office of Rhame and Elwood in 2001 and became a partner in 2017 wherein the firm became Rhame, Elwood & McClure, PC.

Attorney McClure is driven by the concept of equal justice. He concentrates his practice in Municipal Law, Criminal Law, and Estate Planning. He has been a Porter County Public Defender for 12 years and is currently a Public Defender for the Honorable Jeffrey L. Thode of Porter Superior Court Six. Since working at Rhame, Elwood & McClure, PC, Attorney McClure has been the Assistant City Attorney for Portage, represented the Portage Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, Police Merit Board, and Portage Township Trustee. He is also currently the Attorney for Porter County, Indiana, and represents the Porter County Plan Commission, Porter County Board of Zoning Appeals, and Porter County Storm Water Management Board.
